How to use the Studenthub Prompt/Response tool

 

  1. Log into the Student Hub
    http://www.studenthub.org

 

  1. Select “Assignments”

 

 

  1. It will take you to a log-in page. You need to set up an account so that the Hub system can save your work and send it, with your name attached, to your teacher in order for you to be credited. Fill out the information requested. You can always remember your password by following the instruction that accompany the log-in process.

 

When you return, just use the Sign in at the top of the same page.

 

4. Once logged in, you will come to this page

 

 

Select the “Start Prompt/Response Assignment” option.

 

  1. A new frame opens on the right.
    Select “He101” from the list and then “online” from the “Section Number” list, far right.

 

  1. Your Assignment will appear next in the right Frame. Read through it.

 


6.  As you read down through the assignment, you will come to questions imbedded in it. They are underlined and blue. Click on each question.

 


 

7.  After you click on the question, an answer box will appear. Write your response to the question in that box.

 

 


Be sure to click on the  “Submit”  button to save your response. If you don’t it will not be recorded.

 

 

8.     Once you hit “Submit,” your answer will be printed on the page. You can review it at any time by scrolling to it.

 


9.     Your answers are forwarded automatically to your teacher. Click on  “Print your answers”  to save a copy of them for yourself . They will appear as a new page.

10.  When the above screen appears, you can either print or save the page contents. Use the File menu options for either operation
